Accept trips, navigate efficiently, and manage your earnings — your complete driver handbook.

App overview

The Metroberry Driver app is your command centre on the road. Receive trip assignments, navigate with turn-by-turn voice guidance, manage pool pickups, and track your earnings — all from your phone.

  • Dashboard — live map, active trip, voice navigation
  • Schedule — upcoming assigned trips and pool stops
  • History — completed trips and earnings summary
  • More — wallet, documents, profile, and support

Getting approved

  1. Tap Sign Up on the login screen
  2. Verify your phone or email with a 6-digit OTP
  3. Create a password and complete your driver profile
  4. Upload required documents under More → Documents
  5. Wait for admin approval before receiving trips

Important

You cannot receive paid trips until all required documents are verified. Check Documents in the More tab for status.

Dashboard & going online

The Dashboard is your home screen. When you're ready to work, ensure location permissions are enabled — Metroberry uses your GPS to match you with nearby bookings.

  1. Open the app and sign in
  2. Allow Always location access when prompted
  3. The map shows your current position and any active trip
  4. New trip offers appear as a card at the bottom — tap Accept or Decline

Tip

Keep the app open in the foreground during active trips for the most reliable location streaming.

Completing a trip

  1. Accept the trip offer before the timer runs out
  2. Tap Navigate to start turn-by-turn directions to the pickup
  3. When you arrive, tap Arrived — the passenger is notified
  4. After pickup, tap Start Trip
  5. Drive to the destination following voice navigation
  6. Tap Complete Trip when the passenger exits

Pool trips (multiple passengers)

Pool trips have multiple stops. The active stop card at the top shows who to pick up or drop off next. Complete each stop before moving to the next.

  • Follow the stop order shown on the active stop card
  • Tap Arrived at each pickup point
  • Mark No-Show if a passenger doesn't appear within the grace period
  • Complete the final stop to finish the entire pool trip

Voice navigation

Voice navigation reads turn-by-turn directions aloud so you can keep your eyes on the road.

  • Tap the speaker icon on the map to toggle voice on/off
  • Ensure your phone volume is up and not on silent
  • Voice guidance works for both pickup and drop-off legs

Schedule tab

View all upcoming assigned trips for today and future dates. Tap a trip to see passenger details, route, and pickup times.

Tip

Check your Schedule at the start of each shift so you know what's coming and can plan fuel and breaks.

Wallet & earnings

Track your daily earnings and wallet balance from the More tab.

  • Wallet — current balance and recent transactions
  • Earnings — daily, weekly, and monthly breakdowns
  • Trip history — tap any completed trip in History for fare details
